Overview
The MAF Test® has demonstrated clinical utility in large Phase 3 trials (AZURE and NSABP-B34), showing that patients with normal MAF gene expression benefit from adjuvant bisphosphonate therapy to reduce bone metastasis risk, while those with overexpression do not benefit and may be harmed. The test enables personalized selection of early-stage breast cancer patients for adjuvant bisphosphonate treatment. Level 1 evidence supports its use as a companion diagnostic. Exclusive distribution agreements have been signed for Italy and Sub-Saharan Africa. Over 200 patents protect the technology.
