Incereb

Incereb was an Irish neonatal neurodiagnostics medical device company focused on disposable EEG and cerebral function monitoring products for term and preterm infants in neonatal intensive care settings. Its core product line, marketed under the NEON brand, was designed to enable rapid, low-training setup of neonatal brain monitoring and to interface with multiple EEG and aEEG systems. The company collaborated with Irish hospitals and universities to translate neonatal neurology research into commercial products. Incereb was founded in 2011 in Dublin and was acquired by Lifelines Neurodiagnostic Systems in October 2018. Following the acquisition, the Incereb brand and NEON products have continued to appear in commercial channels, but Incereb itself is best characterized as an acquired company rather than an independent operating biotech or pharma business.
