Company intelligence / Profile preview
Incredible Foods, formerly known as WikiFoods, is a food technology and biomaterials company that specialized in edible packaging and allergy-friendly nutrition. The company was founded based on the 'WikiCells' technology developed by Harvard professor David Edwards, which uses natural, biodegradable materials to create edible skins for food and beverages. After rebranding from WikiFoods to Incredible Foods, the company launched the 'Perfect Freee' brand, a line of frozen treats designed to be safe for individuals with the top eight common food allergies. In February 2021, the company's assets were acquired by AeroFarms, a leader in vertical farming, to integrate its food safety and packaging innovations into AeroFarms' sustainable agriculture platform.
