Infinite Legacy

Infinite Legacy is a non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) that facilitates organ, eye, and tissue donation in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Formed in January 2023 through the merger of The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland and the Washington Regional Transplant Community, the organization serves a population of nearly 10 million people. It coordinates the recovery of life-saving organs and tissues from deceased donors and works closely with over 60 hospitals and eight transplant centers to manage the donation process. Infinite Legacy also provides support to donor families and conducts extensive community education programs to promote the importance of donor registration. By leveraging decades of combined expertise, the organization aims to reduce the national transplant waiting list and improve health outcomes through the gift of donation.
