Information Resource Management (IRM) was a specialized contract research organization (CRO) focused on clinical data management and statistical analysis for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Founded in the early 1990s, the company provided critical support services for clinical trials, including database design, data entry, medical coding, and regulatory submission preparation. IRM established a strong reputation for its technical expertise in handling complex clinical datasets and ensuring data integrity for FDA submissions. In 1998, the company was acquired by Quintiles Transnational (now IQVIA), significantly expanding Quintiles' clinical data management capabilities and global reach in the late 1990s.
