Inhibiton Therapeutics was a development-stage biotechnology company based in Centennial, Colorado, that specialized in the research of targeted cancer therapies. The company's primary focus was the development of small molecule inhibitors targeting Protein Kinase C (PKC) isozymes, particularly PKC-iota, for the treatment of brain cancer and other malignancies. Originally founded as Organic Soils.com, the company transitioned into the life sciences sector in 2005 through the acquisition of Inhibetex Therapeutics. Its lead research program, ICA-1, was a selective PKC-iota inhibitor investigated in collaboration with the University of South Florida for its potential to regulate glioma cell proliferation. In 2009, the company pivoted its business model to alternative energy and changed its name to AlumiFuel Power Corporation, terminating its pharmaceutical development activities.
