InnAVasc Medical

InnAVasc Medical is a dialysis-access medical device company founded out of Duke University that developed implantable vascular access products for patients receiving hemodialysis. Its lead product, the InnAVasc Arteriovenous Graft (IG), is designed to reduce needle-related injury, bleeding, and cannulation complications associated with repeated access of arteriovenous grafts. The technology incorporates protected cannulation pods, backplate features, and self-sealing materials intended to improve safety and ease of use for clinicians, patients, and caregivers. InnAVasc was acquired by W. L. Gore & Associates in August 2022, and the InnAVasc business and technology continue to be presented as part of Gore's dialysis access portfolio. The lead graft remains investigational and has been studied in a prospective clinical trial for hemodialysis access in patients with end-stage renal disease.
