Originally operating as the respiratory division of Innovata PLC (formerly ML Laboratories), the company established significant licensing agreements with global pharmaceutical firms. In 2007, Innovata was acquired by Vectura Group for approximately £130 million, integrating its inhaler technology into Vectura's broader pulmonary delivery portfolio.
