InnovaTech Surgical was a medical technology company based in San Juan Capistrano, California, that specialized in the development of innovative surgical access systems for spinal procedures. The company's primary focus was on creating advanced retractor systems designed to facilitate minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) by improving visualization and reducing tissue trauma. These systems were engineered to provide surgeons with more efficient access to the vertebral column while minimizing operative time and enhancing patient recovery. In May 2012, InnovaTech Surgical was acquired by Globus Medical, a leading global musculoskeletal solutions provider. Following the acquisition, InnovaTech's proprietary retractor technology was integrated into Globus Medical's extensive portfolio of spinal implants and instruments.
