Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry

The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD) is a non-profit educational and research organization dedicated to the advancement of laser-based dentistry. It is most recognized for developing and providing clinical training for the LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) protocol, a patented, minimally invasive treatment for periodontitis. The IALD works in close partnership with Millennium Dental Technologies to certify clinicians in the use of the PerioLase MVP-7 dental laser. Through its training programs, the institute aims to improve patient outcomes in periodontal care using regenerative techniques that avoid traditional scalpel-and-suture surgery. Its curriculum is recognized by major dental accreditation bodies, including the ADA CERP, for continuing education.
