The Institute for Women's Health (IFWH) is a premier independent women's healthcare group and clinical research organization based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1996, the company provides a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services, including maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and fertility care across multiple locations. IFWH is a significant player in the clinical trial landscape, operating as a high-volume site for Phase 2-4 clinical trials sponsored by major pharmaceutical companies in indications such as endometriosis and uterine fibroids. In 2019, the group joined Women's Health Texas, a joint venture with Women's Health USA, and was subsequently integrated into the Unified Women's Healthcare network following its acquisition in 2021.
