Company intelligence / Profile preview
Integra OrthoBiologics was a specialized business unit of Integra LifeSciences that focused on regenerative medicine solutions for orthopedic and spinal surgeries. Formed largely through the 2007 acquisition of IsoTis, Inc., the company developed and marketed a broad range of bone graft substitutes and osteoconductive scaffolds. Its portfolio featured the proprietary Accell Bone Matrix (ABM) technology, which enhanced the bioavailability of bone morphogenetic proteins to accelerate bone healing. Key commercial products included the Mozaik and Integra OS scaffolds, as well as the Trel-X and Accell Evo3 demineralized bone matrices. In 2015, Integra spun off its orthobiologics and spinal hardware assets into SeaSpine Holdings Corporation, which later merged with Orthofix in 2023. Today, the legacy Integra OrthoBiologics portfolio remains a core component of Orthofix's regenerative technology offerings.
