Integrated Breeding Platform

Integrated Breeding Platform is a nonprofit agricultural technology organization focused on modern plant breeding rather than human therapeutics or healthcare. It provides software, data-management tools, analytics, training, consulting, and breeding support services to plant breeders, research institutes, universities, and agricultural programs, particularly in developing countries. Its flagship product is the Breeding Management System (BMS Pro), a software suite for managing breeding workflows, trial data, nurseries, seed inventory, statistical analysis, and decision support across crop improvement programs. The organization also offers crop information resources, service-provider networks, and capacity-building programs aimed at accelerating delivery of climate-resilient and improved crop varieties. IBP originated from CGIAR-associated breeding initiatives and now operates as an independent nonprofit entity with commercial activities supported through partners such as VSN International.
