Integrated Physician Systems (IPS) was a healthcare services and technology company that operated both as a clinical research site network and a provider of practice management software. Based in South Florida, the company specialized in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials by partnering with multi-specialty physician practices, providing pharmaceutical sponsors with access to diverse patient populations. Additionally, IPS offered electronic medical record (EMR) and billing solutions designed to optimize administrative workflows for healthcare providers. Between 2007 and 2008, the company's business units were acquired by CRI Worldwide (now part of ICON plc) and Emdeon (now part of Change Healthcare/Optum), respectively.
