The company's core platform utilized Nitinol, a nickel-titanium alloy, to create "smart" implants that provide continuous dynamic compression to facilitate bone fusion and healing. Its primary products included the AEON Shape Memory Implant and the Warmsystem activation device, which were FDA-cleared for various indications in extremity reconstruction and maxillofacial surgery. In 2007, InteliFUSE entered into a significant distribution agreement with Integra LifeSciences to market its products across North America.
