Overview

Intento developed and commercialized a digital therapeutic system ("Intento PRO") that uses self-modulated functional electrical stimulation to enable upper-limb movement recovery in severely impaired post-stroke patients. Clinical studies demonstrated stronger efficacy at impairment reduction than dose-matched standard care, with further multi-center trials underway at the time of acquisition by MindMaze in July 2018.
