International AIDS Empowerment

International AIDS Empowerment (IAE) was a non-profit healthcare service organization based in El Paso, Texas, dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Founded in 2001, the organization provided a range of services including case management, support groups, and educational outreach to underserved populations. IAE focused on improving the quality of life for patients through holistic support and advocacy. The organization was a significant recipient of federal funding under the Ryan White CARE Act to provide care for low-income individuals. It ceased operations around 2014 following legal and financial challenges. The organization's closure left a significant gap in HIV/AIDS support services in the West Texas and Southern New Mexico regions.
