Company intelligence / Profile preview
The SecurAcath system has demonstrated superior performance to standard adhesive-based securement devices. In a recent multi-center randomized controlled trial published in JAMA Pediatrics, use of SecurAcath resulted in a 4.4-fold reduction in catheter dislodgement rates compared to leading adhesive devices among pediatric patients with non-cuffed central venous catheters. The device also reduces infection risk, eliminates suture needle stick risk, improves site cleaning, lowers total cost of care, and does not require replacement during therapy duration.
The product has received multiple FDA clearances for new sizes and continues to expand its clinical adoption globally.
