Company intelligence / Profile preview
InterScope Technologies was a U.S. healthcare technology company focused on digital pathology, slide imaging, case workflow, and clinical data management software for anatomic pathology, toxicology, and genomic applications. The company was founded in 1998 in Pennsylvania by Dr. Michael Becich and other pathologists associated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Its products were used by clinical, research, and educational institutions to manage microscopic digital imaging and pathology workflows. InterScope was venture-backed and later acquired by Trestle Holdings in March 2005 in an asset transaction. Based on the available evidence, it was not a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company, but rather a health-related pathology informatics and imaging software company.
