Prior to acquisition, InTouch Health was a leading provider of enterprise telehealth solutions for hospitals and health systems. Its integrated suite included software platforms and purpose-built devices supporting over 40 clinical use cases in acute and ambulatory settings. The company enabled more than 1.9 million network sessions annually with a global cloud-based network serving over 14,000 providers at more than 3,600 care locations in 30 countries. It was recognized as Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms in 2019. After its July 2020 acquisition by Teladoc Health for approximately $150 million cash plus shares of Teladoc stock (totaling around $600 million at announcement), the brand has been fully integrated into Teladoc’s offerings. No drug or therapeutic clinical results are relevant; the company’s impact was measured by adoption rates among hospitals/health systems and breadth of virtual care enablement.
