Intracorp, originally founded as International Rehabilitation Associates, was a prominent healthcare services company specializing in medical management and cost-containment solutions. For several decades, it operated as a major subsidiary of Cigna, providing services such as utilization review, case management, and disease management to employers and insurers. The company was a pioneer in the managed care industry, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes while controlling healthcare expenditures. In 2011, Cigna sold Intracorp's workers' compensation and casualty business to Genex Services, while its remaining health-related operations were integrated into Cigna's core health services division.
