Company intelligence / Profile preview
Invendo Medical developed the world’s first sterile, single-use, robotically assisted HD colonoscopes and GI endoscopes. Their flagship product lines included the invendoscope SC200/SC210 series and E200 system. These devices were designed to reduce infection risk by eliminating reprocessing needs. The second-generation HD colonoscope was expected to receive CE mark and FDA clearance around 2018. The company was acquired by Ambu in October 2017 for up to €225 million ($261 million), integrating its technology into Ambu’s expanding single-use endoscopy portfolio.
