Invenium Pharmacology

Invenium Pharmacology (officially Invenium Pty Ltd) was a specialized life sciences agency based in Australia that provided regional representation for global contract research organizations. Founded in 2014 by Anthony Bishop, the company was appointed as the exclusive agent for Harlan Laboratories' Contract Research Services (CRS) across Australia, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand. The firm focused on connecting regional pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with essential toxicology and preclinical research services to advance their drug development programs. Invenium Pharmacology provided local leadership and project management expertise, serving as a bridge between Asia-Pacific clients and Harlan's global laboratory network. Following the acquisition of Harlan Laboratories by Envigo and the subsequent transition of its leadership to other industry roles, the company ceased operations in 2017. Its founder, Anthony Bishop, has since held senior development roles at major biotech firms such as Cochlear and Amplia Therapeutics.
