Company intelligence / Profile preview
Inyx was a specialty pharmaceutical company and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that specialized in respiratory and topical drug delivery systems. Headquartered in New York, the company maintained significant manufacturing and R&D operations in the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Its product portfolio primarily focused on aerosol and pump spray technologies for the treatment of asthma, COPD, and allergic rhinitis. Inyx was publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol IYXI until its financial collapse in 2007. The company entered receivership after its primary lender, Westernbank, called in substantial loans, leading to a series of legal battles and the eventual liquidation of its assets.
