Company intelligence / Profile preview
Inyx was a specialty pharmaceutical company and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on respiratory and topical drug delivery technologies. The company specialized in the production of metered-dose inhalers (MDIs) and other aerosol products for the treatment of asthma and COPD. Operating primarily through its UK-based subsidiary, Inyx Europe, the firm provided end-to-end services from formulation development to commercial-scale manufacturing. In 2007, the company collapsed into administration following significant financial distress and legal issues involving its leadership. Its core manufacturing assets were subsequently acquired by Medis, the third-party manufacturing arm of Actavis.
