IRI

IRI, formerly SymphonyIRI Group and originally Information Resources, was a U.S.-based market research and analytics company serving consumer packaged goods, retail, and healthcare customers. In healthcare, the company was known for data, analytics, and market intelligence offerings rather than for developing therapeutics. The name "SymphonyIRI" refers to a historical branding period in which IRI aligned its identity with parent Symphony Technology Group before later returning to the IRI name. In August 2022, IRI merged with The NPD Group, and in March 2023 the combined company rebranded as Circana. Accordingly, Symphony IRI should be treated as a legacy commercial analytics company, not a biotech or pharmaceutical drug developer.
