Overview
IRRAS has commercialized its lead product IRRAflow®, a patented intracranial fluid management system that actively irrigates and drains cerebrospinal fluid while continuously monitoring intracranial pressure. The system aims to reduce catheter blockages and infection rates compared to legacy passive systems. The company also markets the Hummingbird line of ICP monitors. In Q4 2022, IRRAS entered into a commercial partnership with Medtronic for US sales of its products. The latest generation of the control unit received FDA clearance in late 2022. Revenue was SEK ~40 million in FY2022; the company remains loss-making but continues to expand commercialization efforts.
