IRST Somatic Cell Therapy Laboratory

The IRST Somatic Cell Therapy Laboratory is a specialized Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility located within the IRCCS Istituto Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori Dino Amadori in Meldola, Italy. The laboratory is dedicated to the development and production of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) for cancer immunotherapy, specifically focusing on somatic cell therapies. Authorized by the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), it produces autologous dendritic cell vaccines and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) for clinical trials.
