Company intelligence / Profile preview
ISM Therapeutics, formerly known as Inologic, was a biopharmaceutical company based in Seattle that specialized in the discovery and development of a new class of therapeutic drugs based on inositol signaling molecules (ISMs). The company's proprietary platform focused on the role of ISMs in regulating critical cell functions and communication signals associated with cell survival and oncogenesis. Its lead development program, INO-4995, was a synthetic analog of d-myo-inositol 3,4,5,6-tetrakisphosphate designed to treat cystic fibrosis by inhibiting excess sodium and fluid absorption in airway epithelia. Additionally, the company explored the use of ISMs as radioprotective agents and for various oncology indications. ISM Therapeutics is currently considered defunct, with its operations having ceased and its digital presence no longer active.
