Company intelligence / Profile preview
Isogen Biosolutions was a biotechnology company based in the Netherlands that specialized in the synthesis of custom oligonucleotides and the provision of genomic services. Originally the manufacturing arm of Isogen Life Science, the company was acquired by the Indian genomics firm Ocimum Biosolutions in 2006 and subsequently rebranded as Ocimum Biosolutions B.V. in 2008. During its operation, it provided a range of molecular biology tools, including microarrays and Bio-IT solutions, to the European research community. The company's facilities in Ijsselstein served as a key hub for genomic services, including gene expression studies and DNA synthesis. It was eventually fully integrated into Ocimum's global operations as their European service center.
