Overview
Issar Pharmaceuticals has commercialized two peptide drugs—Melgain (now Novoskin) for vitiligo and Xylentra for burn wounds/microbial infections. Melgain was the first indigenous Indian peptide drug to reach market in 2004. Xylentra was licensed to Viatris in 2020.
