Company intelligence / Profile preview
Jamestown TN Medical Center, Inc., operating as Jamestown Regional Medical Center, was an 85-bed acute care facility located in Fentress County, Tennessee. The hospital provided essential healthcare services to the local community, including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and diagnostic imaging. In 2018, the facility was acquired by Rennova Health, but it faced significant financial challenges shortly thereafter. Due to the termination of its Medicare and Medicaid provider agreements by federal authorities, the hospital was forced to cease operations in June 2019. Since its closure, the parent company has explored various options for reopening, though the facility remains inactive. It served as a critical access point for rural healthcare in the Upper Cumberland region.
