Janssen Animal Health was a specialized veterinary pharmaceutical division of Janssen Pharmaceutica, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. The company was primarily recognized for its research and development in the fields of parasitology, offering a range of products for both companion animals and livestock. Key products in its portfolio included treatments for internal and external parasites, such as Flukiver and Vecoxan. In July 2011, the business was acquired by Elanco, the animal health division of Eli Lilly and Company, as part of a strategic move to expand Elanco's global footprint and product diversity.
