Janus Development Group was a medical device company focused on developing innovative solutions for regional cancer therapy. The company's flagship product, the Janus Port, is a dual-lumen access port designed for hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) of chemotherapy, allowing for targeted treatment of liver metastases from colorectal cancer and other primary liver tumors. By enabling the simultaneous or sequential delivery of multiple agents directly to the hepatic artery, the Janus technology aimed to improve outcomes for patients with advanced liver malignancies. The Janus Port technology was acquired by AngioDynamics in 2010 to expand their oncology and vascular access portfolio.
