Japan Regenerative Medicine (JRM) is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing autologous cell therapies for rare pediatric congenital heart diseases. The company's lead product, JRM-001, utilizes cardiac stem cells (CSCs) to treat children with single ventricle physiology, a severe condition where the heart has only one functioning ventricle. Founded in 2013 and based in Kawasaki, Japan, JRM was acquired by Metcela in 2022 to accelerate the development of its cardiac regeneration pipeline.
