Operating as a division or fund under JER Partners (J.E. Robert Companies), the firm managed a diverse portfolio of healthcare real estate assets, including assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities. The company was a significant institutional player in the senior housing sector during the early to mid-2000s, focusing on high-quality residential care environments for the aging population. Following the financial challenges of the 2008 crisis and the subsequent restructuring of its parent company, the management of JER's real estate funds was transitioned to C-III Capital Partners in 2011.
