Jewish Family Service of Colorado

Jewish Family Service of Colorado is a longstanding nonprofit human services and community health organization serving people across Colorado, particularly the Denver and Boulder areas. Founded in 1872, it provides an integrated portfolio of more than 30 programs spanning mental health counseling, food security, housing and emergency assistance, aging care, employment support, disability services, refugee services, chaplaincy, and Jewish life. The organization is not a biotech or pharmaceutical developer and does not operate a drug pipeline; instead, it delivers direct care and support services through community-based programs. Its healthcare relevance comes primarily from behavioral health, care management, social determinants of health, and supportive services for vulnerable populations. JFS also operates JFS Altius Farms, an aeroponic farming initiative tied to food access and nutrition support.
