Jiangxi Dongfeng Pharmaceutical is a Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in the production of antipyretic and analgesic drugs. Founded in 1970 and based in Leping, Jiangxi, the company is a major producer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms, including Metamizole Sodium (Analgin) and Paracetamol. In 2011, it was acquired by Shandong Xinhua Pharmaceutical, one of China's largest pharmaceutical groups, to strengthen its position in the analgesics market.
