Kahimmune Therapeutics

Kahimmune Therapeutics is a French immuno-oncology biotechnology company specializing in the development of next-generation therapeutic cancer vaccines targeting the "dark genome." Spun out from Gustave Roussy and SATT Paris-Saclay in late 2025, the company utilizes its proprietary Kahinomics platform to identify novel tumor-specific antigens, known as Kahigens, derived from non-coding regions of the human genome. These antigens, specifically Pioneer Translation Products (PTPs), represent a vast untapped landscape of targets that could elicit potent anti-tumor T-cell responses. Kahimmune's primary approach involves developing shared mRNA-based vaccines delivered via lipid nanoparticles to be used in combination with standard-of-care treatments. Its lead candidate, KAH-001, is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of colorectal and pancreatic cancers.
