Company intelligence / Profile preview
Kaiser Optical Systems was a U.S. analytical instrumentation company focused on Raman spectroscopy systems, probes, software, and holographic optical components. The business supplied laboratory, process, and manufacturing Raman solutions used across pharmaceuticals, biopharma, chemicals, food and beverage, polymers, astronomy, and ultrafast science. In healthcare-related markets, Kaiser Raman products were used for bioprocess monitoring, process analytical technology, and quality control in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing rather than for developing therapeutic drugs. Kaiser became part of Endress+Hauser in 2013 and, effective January 1, 2022, was merged with SpectraSensors to form Endress+Hauser Optical Analysis, Inc. Its Raman product line continues commercially under Endress+Hauser as products powered by Kaiser Raman technology.
