Company intelligence / Profile preview
KaVo Sybron Dental was a dental products and equipment business formed within Danaher through the combination of KaVo and Sybron Dental assets, and it operated across dental equipment, consumables, orthodontics, endodontics, imaging, and infection prevention. Historically, the business sold treatment units, handpieces, dental chairs, imaging systems, braces, restorative products, and related dental workflow solutions. Over time, these assets were reorganized under KaVo Kerr and later Envista following Danaher’s dental spin-off. In late 2021 and early 2022, Envista divested the KaVo Treatment Unit & Instrument business to Planmeca, while other legacy brands such as Kerr remained within Envista. As a result, "KaVo Sybron Dental" is best understood as a historical corporate/business name rather than a currently operating standalone company.
