Company intelligence / Profile preview
Kazeon (Kazeon Systems, Inc.) was a leading provider of electronic discovery (eDiscovery) and information governance solutions, particularly prominent in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors. The company's flagship Kazeon Information Access Platform enabled organizations to automate the identification, classification, and collection of unstructured data across the enterprise, ensuring compliance with stringent regulations such as HIPAA and FDA requirements. By providing "in-place" data analytics, Kazeon allowed legal and IT teams to perform early case assessments and manage litigation risks without the need for costly data migration. In 2009, Kazeon was acquired by EMC Corporation for approximately $75 million and integrated into the EMC SourceOne product family. Its technology eventually became part of the OpenText portfolio following the acquisition of Dell EMC's Enterprise Content Division in 2017.
