Keocyt

Keocyt is a French specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to oncology and hematology, specifically focusing on orphan drugs and supportive care. Established in 2007, the company specialized in the registration, market access, and commercialization of innovative therapies within the French market. Its portfolio included notable treatments such as Akynzeo and Aloxi for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, as well as Zavedos for leukemia. The company was recognized for its expertise in navigating the complex French regulatory environment, including the Temporary Authorization for Use (ATU) system. In March 2016, Keocyt was acquired by the Swiss pharmaceutical group Helsinn and subsequently integrated as Helsinn France. This strategic acquisition allowed Helsinn to establish a direct commercial presence in France to support its oncology portfolio.
