Company intelligence / Profile preview
Kheiron’s Mia platform has been clinically validated in prospective studies across the UK and EU. It demonstrated that it can deliver double-reading quality with a single human reader. In clinical use, Mia helped detect 13% more cancers compared to standard practice and could halve the number of missed cancers. Published results indicate significant improvements in early breast cancer detection rates. Kheiron Medical Technologies developed advanced deep learning-based software platforms supporting radiologists primarily in early breast cancer detection through mammography interpretation. Its flagship product suite “Mia” provides automated reading support that matches or exceeds double-reading standards required by European guidelines while improving workflow efficiency amid global radiologist shortages. The technology has been validated through large-scale prospective trials published in leading journals such as Nature Medicine and adopted by major health systems including NHS programs. In October 2024 it was acquired by DeepHealth to expand its reach into broader international markets while continuing its mission under new ownership.
