Kids Without Cancer Foundation

Kids Without Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to funding research for pediatric cancer. Based in Royal Oak, Michigan, the foundation directs its resources toward finding cures and improving treatments for childhood leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors. The organization maintains close partnerships with the Children's Hospital of Michigan and the Karmanos Cancer Institute at Wayne State University. Originally established in 1981 under the name Leukemia, Research, Life (LRL), it rebranded to Kids Without Cancer in 2011 to better reflect its broad mission. The foundation is primarily volunteer-driven and relies on community events and donations to support its grant-making activities. To date, it has contributed millions of dollars to advance pediatric oncology research in the Detroit metropolitan area.
