Company intelligence / Profile preview
Kinectrics operates globally as a leading provider of lifecycle management services for the nuclear power industry and has become an essential supplier of medical isotopes—especially lutetium‑177—for cancer therapeutics. Through its joint venture Isogen with Framatome and partnerships with Bruce Power and ITM, Kinectrics has enabled commercial-scale production of critical radioisotopes used in oncology. The company employs over 1,300 technical staff across more than twenty sites worldwide. In January 2025 it was announced that BWX Technologies would acquire Kinectrics for $525 million; post-acquisition it will operate as a subsidiary within BWXT’s Commercial Operations segment.[4][5][6]
