Kinetica Labs is an occupational health technology company that developed AI-driven, video-based sensorless motion-capture software for workplace ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorder risk assessment. Originating from the University of Michigan, the company translated ordinary video into posture data that could be used to evaluate ergonomic risk without wearable sensors, markers, or suits. Its products were aimed at employers seeking to reduce work-related musculoskeletal disorders through software-enabled assessment, analytics, and workflow tools. Kinetica Labs launched web and mobile applications in 2020 and later became part of VelocityEHS in July 2021.
