Korean Stem Cell Research Center

The Korean Stem Cell Research Center (KSCRC), officially known as the STC Stem Cell Treatment & Research Institute (STRI), is a private biotechnology research organization based in Seoul, South Korea, and a subsidiary of the STC Life (or bBHC) group. The center is renowned for its proprietary "newly Elicited Pluripotent Stem Cells" (nEPS) technology, which enables the generation of pluripotent stem cells from adult cells using a small molecule inducer, STC-n01, rather than viral vectors or genetic modification. KSCRC's research focuses on regenerative medicine and the development of therapies for incurable conditions, including Parkinson's disease, diabetes, liver cirrhosis, and various cancers. The institute operates in conjunction with the 97.7 B&H Clinic to provide stem cell-based treatments and anti-aging services. With an extensive global patent portfolio, the center aims to advance its cell therapy candidates through clinical development and commercialization.
