Kraft Foods

Kraft Foods was a major American food and beverage company best known for packaged grocery, cheese, meal, and beverage brands rather than life science, biotech, pharma, or healthcare activities. The historical Kraft Foods Inc. changed its name to Mondelēz International in October 2012 and spun off its North American grocery business as Kraft Foods Group. Kraft Foods Group then operated as a standalone public company until July 2, 2015, when it merged with H.J. Heinz to form The Kraft Heinz Company. Today, "Kraft" continues primarily as a brand and business lineage within Kraft Heinz rather than as an independent biotech or healthcare company.
