Kukjeon Co., Ltd. (formerly Kukjeon Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) is a South Korean pharmaceutical and chemical company founded in 1972 and listed on the KOSDAQ (307750). The company specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and has recently expanded into electronic and precision chemical materials. Kukjeon is actively diversifying its business into drug development and CDMO services through strategic partnerships and its joint venture, KSBL. Its clinical pipeline includes NuCerin (HY209), an oral small molecule in Phase 1 development for Alzheimer's disease co-developed with Shaperon, and THP-001, a fixed-dose combination in Phase 3 development for hypertension and diabetes co-developed with THPharm. Additionally, through KSBL, the company is developing SNA-001, an albumin nanoparticle generic of Abraxane for solid tumors.
